Do you know you can register your courses with your phone and print it out with #10?
The browser I will advise you to use is Chrome. The app icon has three colors – red, green and yellow. It is advisable because you can save the PDF with no stress and I think UNN website is best visited using Chrome. All Android phones have Google Chrome, laptops too and tablets. Well I can’t speak for all tabs but the ones I’ve seen have Google Chrome or Chrome (still the same thing)
So, let’s get started:
1. Open your browser (recommended browser – Chrome)
2. Click on the search button.
3. Type in the link to the school portal http://unnportal.unn.edu.ng/
4. Type in your username and password. Your username is your registration number. At the beginning of every first semester, first years sign in with their JAMB reg number till they finish their first year clearance and gotten a matric number a.k.a reg number.
5. When you log in you’ll see the icons lined up. Click on Course registration.
6. Click on register courses
7. Add your semester and session
8. The courses you’re offering will appear. Then mark the ones you are offering.
9. Click on submit
10. The page loads, since you’re using Google Chrome it takes you to where you’ll save the PDF.
11. Click on save.
12. It will take you to your file manager to choose a location.
13. Rename the file if you want to, then click on save.
When you get to cyber cafe, tell them you want to print out your course registration from your phone. Then pay #10. You’re good to go. There you’ve saved #90 out of #100 you would have paid.
